About Us
Aleph Objects, Inc. develops and manufactures a product line of rapid prototyping 3D printers. We are based in Loveland, Colorado, USA.
What is 3D printing?
3D printing, also referred to as additive manufacturing, is the process of fabricating objects from 3D model data, through the deposition of a material in accumulative layers. Aleph Objects' printers utilize a heated nozzle to deposit thermoplastic filament (typically ABS or PLA) from a spool onto a heated glass bed to varying layer thicknesses.
Why 3D printing?
3D printing is much more cost effective than traditional rapid prototyping methods (SLA, injection molding, CNC, etc.). The cost difference per part between 3D printing and other prototyping systems can be significant, especially when you examine total cost which includes material, machine depreciation, system maintenance, and labor.
3D printing can also help significantly reduce the development process. With 3D printing, you can quickly fine tune designs and cut weeks, even months, from your development schedule. You can test form, fit, function and explore as many design iterations as you like, right from your desktop.
